Among other solutions, Dissel Data Services works with the ETL-toolkit of Grip op Data from Leek, The Netherlands. Grip op Data offers excellent tools for the development of transparent and reusable ETL (extract-transform-load) data flows. Based on metadata, SQL code is generated and executed. The toolkit is Python-based and compatible with all mainstream database solutions (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, IBM DB2, Postgres, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake), on-premise and cloud. In addition, Grip op Data can make a wide range of other sources accessible with SQL, such as data from json, rss-feeds, csv, pdf and word-documents.
